Notes
  • If the report has been assigned a number, provide that number in parentheses following the title.
  • If the author is also the publisher, use the word Author after the location.
  • If the report was retrieved online, the name of the publisher gets added to the retrieval statement unless the publisher has been identified as the author.

Government Reports

If a report was obtained from the U.S. Government Printing Office, list it as the publisher in your reference (see example below).
