Remote Teaching Resources

Take advantage of library resources in your online courses and work with librarians to make content available to your students.

Support for Online Learning

Daemen Library is committed to serving online and distance learners. Librarians are able to assist in a variety of ways. We can:

  • Provide library instruction or research assistance via Zoom
  • Create video tutorials on a variety of topics on demand
  • Provide assistance in identifying, obtaining, and linking to e-resources
  • Curate resources into an online research guide for easy access for you and students

Video streaming services and collections available through Daemen Library:

  • Kanopy - provides access to over 30,000 documentaries, indie films, and classics (including Criterion Collection films).
  • Swank Motion Pictures - a vast library of major motion picture films. Create an Instructor account when you log in to search unlicensed content and request titles.

Copyright and Online Teaching

For copyright reasons, it is always best to provide links to items rather than share PDFs directly with students. We can host materials on our Course Reserves system or provide you with permanent links to any item available through our resources.
