A Daemen alumna, Andrea has had a varied library career, from public to high school. She returned to Daemen in 2004 as a Reference Librarian and is now Head of Reference and Library Instruction. One of her major projects has been implementing ways to close the Information Literacy gap, and in 2007 she spearheaded the formation of "High School to College," a collaboration of WNY high school and academic librarians. She's also a gradate of UB with an MA in English and a Master's in Library Science.
She annoys long-suffering friends with her guitar playing, enjoys singing (much to the chagrin of her Siamese cat), and dreams of being the O. Henry of her generation.
