Study Spaces
Study spaces are available throughout the Research & Information Commons. This includes:
- Computer lab (1st floor)
- Reading Bridge with booth seating (2nd floor)
- Graduate Studies Technology Center (3rd floor)
- Group study rooms (2nd and 3rd floor)
- Desks and furniture throughout 2nd and 3rd floor
Group Study Rooms
Group study rooms, located on the second and third floors of the RIC, are first come, first-served and cannot be reserved. The rooms generally seat about four students and are equipped with white boards. Dry erase markers are available at the circulation desk.
Bags and other personal possessions cannot be left in a room to "hold your spot." The group study rooms are often in high demand. If a room is left unattended and other students want to use that space, your possessions will be removed and held at the circulation desk.
Room Booking
All room reservation requests are handled by Conference Services. To make a room reservation, please complete the Reserving Facilities Form so that your request may be reviewed by Conference Services or the Student Activities Office. Someone will be in touch with you once we have received the form.
Daemen Library Staff asks that you return the room to the condition in which you found it as a courtesy to the next guest. This includes tables/desks in RIC 101.
