What are Course Reserves?

Course Reserve materials are physical or electronic items (books, DVDs, study materials, etc.) that instructors request be made available for students in their course. This includes:

  • Physical items held at the Circulation Desk for in-library use only (up to 2 hours at a time). A valid Daemen ID is required to check out the item.
  • Electronic items made accessible through our E-Reserves system.

For Students

Search our E-Reserves system to browse materials for your course and download electronic reserve items.

For Faculty

To add materials to Course Reserve, upload PDFs to E-Reserves by filling out the E-Reserves Request form. We ask that you place materials on reserve well in advance of students' need.

If you have any questions, please contact Kara McGuire.
