Information Literacy Course
As part of the First Year Experience (FYE) courses that incoming freshmen at Daemen are required to take, Daemen Library has designed an online information literacy course. The course consists of 11 lessons (organized into four sections) and a 15 question quiz. The course takes approximately two hours to complete.
The course is designed to be integrated into blackboard courses and is available in the FYE Organization in Blackboard. Integration into Blackboard makes it easy to make it a graded assignment (complete/incomplete), assign a due date, and track student completion.
For instructors teaching non-FYE courses that want to utilize the online Information Literacy course, you can either use the ungraded web version linked below or email jdion@daemen.edu to request a SCORM package for uploading to Blackboard.
