How to Access Articles
The instructions below illustrate how to access articles for your program.
Database Links
Some articles links with direct you to one of the library's research databases, such as MEDLINE or ScienceDirect. You'll be able to recognize these links as the will have ezproxy.daemen.edu or ezproxy-daemen-edu located in the URL.
When accessing these links, you will be prompted to sign in using your Daemen OneLogin username and password.
Finding Articles by Title
If you want to see if the library has access to an article, you can simply enter the title into the SearchCat search box on the library homepage.
Find the article from the search results and if you see a link to "view full text," then you can click that to access the article in one of our databases. After clicking the link, you may be prompted to sign in using your Daemen OneLogin username and password.
The video below shows the process outlined above in action.
Requesting Articles Using Interlibrary Loan
You may encounter an article that the library doesn't have access to through any of its database subscriptions. But don't worry, we can still get the article for you using our free Interlibrary Loan (ILL) service! Our Tipasa ILL system is tied to your Library Account, which uses Daemen OneLogin credentials.
The video below walks you through the ILL process.
