Job Summary
The library is a very busy area of the University, with multiple functions that assist Daemen students in gaining the skills and information needed to succeed in their courses. When classes are in session, the library is open 7am-1am Monday-Thursday, 7am-11pm Friday, 9am-11pm Saturday, and 10am-1am Sunday.
Work Study students are essential in assisting students and faculty/staff to operate the library and to provide the superb customer service that the Daemen community have learned to expect from the department.
A Library Work Study assistant assists with the performance of the daily functions of the Library.
Job duties and responsibilities: Assisting staff with library functions. Clerical duties such as Interlibrary Loan processing, finding books for patrons, shelving etc. Good communication and computer skills are required.
