Collection

Daemen University Library provides access to over 1 million books, journals, serials, magazines and videos in print and digital holdings. Ebooks, ejournals, magazines, videos, theses and other electronic resources are available on the library website. The physical collection includes 50,000 print books, journals and media volumes.


Items not held in the collection can be accessed through interlibrary loan. Faculty may place print and electronic items on reserve for student use.

Archives

The Daemen University Archives collects, preserves and provides access to a myriad of historical documents and artifacts relating to Daemen University, Daemen College and Rosary Hill College history, Daemen community history and institutional records. The collection includes yearbooks and catalogs going back to 1947, school publications such as the Alumnae Bulletin, The Response, Daemen Magazine, Daemen Today, and The Ascent and many other photographs and documents available for public use. Research requests or donations for the archives should be forwarded to Jake Dion at jdion@daemen.edu.

Institutional Repository

Daemen Digital Commons is home to the university's institutional repository, containing scholarship from Daemen faculty and students. Some archival collections are also hosted online in the institutional repository. Faculty articles, books, book chapters and other publications are available for download or linked. Any Daemen community member can submit their work to the repository for long term preservation. To submit your work, contact Jake Dion at jdion@daemen.edu
