- Assistant Secretary for Planning and EvaluationThe Assistant Secretary for Planning and Evaluation (ASPE) is the principal advisor to the Secretary of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services on policy development, and is responsible for major activities in policy coordination, legislation development, strategic planning, policy research, evaluation, and economic analysis.
- The Institution for Research on PovertyIRP, at the Univeristy of Wisconsin-Madison, is a center for interdisciplinary research into the causes and consequences of poverty and social inequality in the United States. As one of three National Poverty Research Centers sponsored by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, IRP has a particular interest in poverty and family welfare in Wisconsin as well as the nation.
- Stanford Center on Poverty and InequalityThe Stanford Center on Poverty and Inequality (CPI), one of three National Poverty Centers, is a nonpartisan research center dedicated to monitoring trends in poverty and inequality, explaining what's driving those trends, and developing science-based policy on poverty and inequality. CPI supports research by new and established scholars, trains the next generation of scholars and policy analysts, and disseminates the very best research on poverty and inequality.

Website provides fact sheets on health data as well as educational material and guides for advocates and organizations.
- Pew Research Hispanic Trends ProjectThe project conducts public opinion surveys that aim to illuminate Latino views on a range of social matters and public policy issues, including its annual National Survey of Latinos. It also publishes demographic studies and other social science research on a wide range of topics, including economics and personal finances, Hispanic/Latino identity, education, health care, immigration trends, the Latino vote, technology adoption, youth and work and employment. The project is well-known for its estimates of the unauthorized immigrant population in the U.S.

- Center for Deployment Pyschology: Preparing Professionals to Support Warriors and Their FamiliesThe CDP mission is to prepare health care professionals to better meet the deployment-related emotional and psychological needs of military personnel and their families. More than two million service members have deployed during the conflicts overseas, including many who have deployed multiple times. With these increased deployments, service members and their families undergo increased stress and psychological health challenges.
